After retiring in 2013, my husband and I moved to a small ranch in Prineville, OR. We started attending PPC in January 2014. We stayed because the people were very welcoming and active in the community as well as in the church. I have been a deacon for many years and recently became a deacon again. I am also on the Pastor Nominating Committee. In addition, I work as the liaison to the Warm Springs Reservation Emergency Water Mission for the Church.

I became a widow and returned to Central Oregon, later married my veterinarian friend Larry Dresher. We joined this church, built a home on acreage and traveled many parts of the world. He passed away in 2024. I have been an Elder of this church and am presently a Deacon.

The congregation is friendly and compassionate. We have been attending for 14 years, and I have been an Elder for 6 years and a Deacon for 4 1/2 years. I have chaired several different committees, including the Spring Sale & AutumnFest. These events fund our local missions. I have worked with others on the Communion committee, I help serve lunch at the Prineville Senior Citizens Center, and help work in the PPC kitchen setting up for potlucks. I have enjoyed each of my opportunities for service in the church.

Steve and I have been married for 54 years and together 57!

Stu and I relocated to Prineville, Oregon from Cushing, Oklahoma in November 2014. Shortly after settling in, we began our search for a church home.
